As the Homecare On-Call & Payroll Coordinator at TLC Nursing, I am responsible for Homecare concerns, coverage and scheduling, and assist in Nursing & Home Care Payroll. I am also responsible for responding to all communications after hours queries and concerns from both the client and healthcare workers. In 2022, I started working as on-call and payroll coordinator, helping my team responding to calls that come in after-hours for both homecare and healthcare staff and clients. I ensured communication and support were provided. I also assist caregivers and nurses to ensure their payroll is updated in a timely manner and that they are paid appropriately for their time, in the 2 months I have worked with TLC so far.

I earned degrees in Electronics Engineering Technology in Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas, and a degree in Business Administration focusing in Human Resource Management at La Consolacion College Bacolod. Also took units for a short course for Caregiver in Riverside College.

As the Virtual Travel Nurse Recruiter at TLC Nursing, I am responsible to schedule Zoom interviews, texting, calling and emailing applicants to build rapport, screen and qualify. Book interviews with qualified applicants and notify the HR team via phone, instant messaging or calendar. Remind applicants of the interview and reschedule if needed.

As the Housing and On-Call coordinator on weekends at TLC Nursing, I am responsible for as a point of contact for our staff’s Hotel needs, homecare scheduling, cover call-outs, and responding to calls that come into TLC after business hours. In 2021, I started working as a weekend on-call coordinator. My main task then was to work with all concerns coming on a weekend from communicating client and Caregiver concerns, covering for call-outs, hotel, and transportation issues. I made sure that all the concerns after business hours were documented and communicated to the managers. By this, I was able to help the team in process improvement in several areas of opportunity of TLC operation. Coming to 2022, I move to a full-time role and am now helping my team in making sure that our travel staff will have safe and comfortable accommodation while they’re away from home.

As Recruiter Coordinator, I am responsible for reaching out to suitable candidates, doing initial interviews, and processing their application forms.
