Matching the Best People With the Best Jobs in Healthcare

TLC nursing agency was founded in 2006 and is locally owned by a licensed nurse with real experience in a variety of healthcare settings. Mohamed Basha, Founder and CEO, started this company with the mission of providing high-quality care by matching only the best people with the best jobs in healthcare, guided by compassion. We are based in beautiful Vermont with two permanently staffed offices and the fourth one in Lebanon, New Hampshire where our employees, especially traveling staff, have the reliable support of a local home team. We know what it takes to do the job and strive to give the best pay and benefits packages along with ongoing continuing support. Check out our employee benefits here!

We hire and provide placement for all types of healthcare professionals including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, LNAs, and other allied frontline healthcare professionals. We require a minimum of one-year experience for these types of positions.  By providing staffing services, we save facilities and organizations on costs associated with employee, hiring, training expenses, and advertising costs. We do all the work of finding qualified people like you so all you have to do is choose your desired positions and show up for work. Whether you need full-time hours, part-time or seasonal employment, you can be confident we have job openings for you. The New England area has a great need for people like you in a variety of healthcare roles.

We have a 24-hour on-call staff coordinator who maintains contact with all the facilities we cultivate relationships with. Our services are not only flexible, they are tailored to improve our client’s facilities and meet the needs of individuals. Because we have dedicated staff to coordinate with facilities, these relationships mean they trust us to provide the most qualified candidates for their openings. Ongoing education and training in specialized skills are also available and our employees have access to our large online library of nurse educator-led training.  Not only does that help our RNs, LPNs, CNAs, LNAs, and aligned healthcare professionals keep their skills sharp with the most up-to-date information, they have the opportunity to learn new skills and maximize their potential.

There is always a huge demand for quality RNs, LPNs, CNAs, LNAs, and aligned frontline healthcare professionals! “TLC is one of the best nursing companies I have worked for. They offer unlimited hours and top pay. TLC has a very wide variety of work weather you are looking for in-home care, nursing home, corrections, or hospital work. The greatest part of working for an agency is you are in control of when and where you want to work. Thank you, TLC for making my work experience a great one!”

~ Laura Bates, LPN

“Being an agency nurse can be intimidating at times.  Fifteen minutes of orientation and you are expected to jump right in.  What I liked most about TLC was the availability of the TLC team.  If I ever had a question about an assignment they were a phone call away 24/7! I never felt like I was alone at a new facility even if I was physically alone.  Not to mention the money is outstanding!  TLC is by far the best company I have worked for in my 9 years as a nurse.  If I move back to Vermont in the future I will certainly give them a call.”

~ David Weegar, RN McHenry, IL

“I was an LPN when I first met Mohamed in 2008, and I have to say my first impression was that of professionalism and character. I had worked in an area of nursing for over three years and was at my wits end from stress and a feeling of being unappreciated from my current employers. I decided to take a chance and do something I had never done before, be an agency nurse for TLC Nursing Associates.

~ Debra M. Lamotte RN Trotwood, OH

“TLC Nursing is an awesome company to work for. TLC has made it enjoyable to do my work. The leadership team at TLC Nursing works very hard to take care of their clients and match their employees to the client’s needs. I am very happy to work for TLC Nursing.”

~ Mary Picard, LNA Atlanta, GA

“I loved working for TLC because the entire staff works together to bring successful care to the client.  The open-door policy of management is really just that.  I could just as comfortably speak of concerns or questions to Mohamed as easily as I could to Courtney.  I also LOVED the fact that TLC sees clients as people – NOT just MONEY.  When upper management has knowledge of the client’s needs, it helps the caregiver to better give care.  communication is a big key to the overall success and everyone wins when we all work together.  It is also nice when we have meetings –  we can get to know our coworkers.  When we are out in the field sometimes we can feel isolated… the bonus rewards are great too!”

~ Sonya Alden, PCA Lebanon, NH

“When you approached me over four years ago regarding the possibility of providing extra care to Wheelock residents, I was a very reluctant customer. Neither Wheelock residents, families, nor staff have been satisfied with the extra care services from other agencies that I have tried in the past.I am very thankful and grateful to TLC for being such an excellent colleague, and seamlessly working together with our staff as a team. For over four years, you have provided the highest quality of consistent staff, and they have been a pleasure to work with. In many cases, we have needed the support when a resident is on hospice and dying. Your excellent staff has been keyed for Wheelock residents, helping us make it possible for them to stay in their homes through their last phase of life. You have made all the difference for many residents and families. We could not have done it without you!!
It has always been a great pleasure to work with TLC! I have been consistently pleased with your response time when we need extra support, often on short notice. Whatever the concern, TLC has been able to resolve and reassure families.
I proudly refer families to TLC with the utmost confidence.
Thank you for helping make Wheelock Terrace Services the Best!”

~ Nan Abbot, Executive Director

“TLC Nursing Associates has provided professional nursing services to The Arbors on numerous occasions. I have known the company president, Mohamed Basha, RN for two years, and he has always provided reliable and professional services to us. TLC has never missed a scheduled shift of coverage when working for The Arbors. What separates TLC Nursing Associates from other agencies is their commitment to understanding the client’s needs and their dedication to providing safe, experienced staff when requested to do so. We have used TLC Nursing Associates to provide coverage on all three shifts. I cannot recall receiving any complaints or voiced concerns from care staff or families of The Arbors when nurses from TLC Nursing Associates have worked.
I would recommend any family or licensed facility to strongly consider using TLC Nursing Associates when you need reliable and dependable nursing, or home health aide services. “

~ William A. Davidson, RN, BSN, MHSA

“Cathedral Square Corporation (CSC) is a non-profit organization that owns and manages properties for seniors in Burlington, Colchester, Essex Junction, Jericho, Richmond, St. Albans, Waterbury, and Williston. While each community is unique, all Cathedral Square properties combine excellent support services and caring staff. CSC offers three different types of senior housing, which provide increasing levels of services: independent senior housing shared housing, and assisted living. Given the services, we offer we will from time to time rely on staffing agencies to supplement our own. TLC Nursing Associates and Cathedral Square Senior Living have been working together for several years. Cathedral Square Senior Living, our assisted living licensed facility, offers personal care services that are available 24 hours per day from our specially trained staff, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and medication reminders. So it is essential that we maintain a high-quality staff. TLC has been able to provide us with well-trained and consistent staffing. TLC Nursing responds quickly to our needs and is almost always able to fill the request. Furthermore, TLC Nursing is receptive to feedback and resolves issues as they arrive appropriately.
As a director of an Assisted Living facility staffing is one of the greatest challenges. Having a reliable staffing agency behind me really makes my job much easier.”

~ Laura Wilson, Director

“Our long-term care and rehabilitation facility has had the pleasure of working with TLC Nursing Associates. A nursing facility is dependent on quality reliable staff. With the changes in reimbursement throughout the healthcare realm, it is important to keep staffing costs at an affordable rate. Mohamed Basha’s company was not only reliable and professional but also affordable.
Although usually we usually maintain good staffing ratios, our employees sometimes require time off for various reasons. It is imperative to the functioning of the facility that we have adequate staffing levels and find quick solutions to our staffing challenges. TLC Nursing was professional and provided staffing replacement for us with a low-stress process. The company is local so the staff they provided was able to start immediately. The quality of the staff they provided was exceptional and it was obvious that they had thorough orientation and superb communication and customer service skills. Some difficult factors of staffing replacement for temporary nursing are high costs, hidden charges, and lengthy contracts. We had none of these problems with TLC Nursing: we were able to have staffing replacement on an as-needed basis.
Currently, our staffing is good but we know if a problem should arise that we can count on TLC Nursing to provide us with reliable high-quality staffing replacements. We highly recommend them and will continue to utilize their services.”

~ James Beeler, Administrator

“TLC Nursing has proven to be a wonderful agency for Prison Health Services to be aligned with. Mohamed Basha, the founding father of this company, has established himself as someone who is not only a leader in his field but someone who confidently “walks the walk” as well. He rises to the occasion of accountability and resolution of issues consistently. Prison Health Services is very fortunate to contract with TLC Nursing and they are very close to being our sole agency provider for Vermont nurses.”

~ Deborah Moore, MS-FNP, BC CCHP
